Lympa Log - Leica R lenses on Olympus E-330 DSLR

Exposures in the slide show were all hand-held with the Leica Vario-APO-Elmarit 70-180mm f2.8 on the Olympus E-330 with RAW format and typically at ISO 100 on a brightly lit day at the San Diego Wild Animal Park.

I used the Leica APO 2x extender on some exposures for the extra telephoto reach. Shooting mostly wide open or one stop down at f4, the Leica lens shows very smooth "bokeh" - that out-of-focus background blur.

The slide show uses the Photoshop (CS2 is my version) "Web Photo Gallery" function (under File/Automate). I am curious how it will appear on other computers, so please feel free to comment, especially if you have any trouble with viewing or with images loading.  I would really appreciate any reports to datamaster@northcoastphotos.com - THANKS!
